Video Premiere: King Daniel Debuts Exciting New Visuals For ‘There, There’

LA-based indie artist, King Daniel, is kicking off 2019 with a brand new video, some fresh music, and a tour. His infectious song, “There, There” tells an age-old Faustian tale in a body of work that’s infused with the haunting rock sounds of today. The video shows King Daniel dancing with the devil, as he is presented with a deal of fame and fortune. “’There, There’ is about the devil, plain and simple. I think the battle of good and evil is an inner battle within all of us, and I pray that in this crazy journey of mine, I can fight the devil and win like I do in the film,”  the 27-year-old singer said in a statement.

“There, There” was recorded last year in King Daniel’s hometown of New York with Brandon Bost (St. Vincent, Brandi Carlile) over the course of a few nights. “A lot of my songs were a little [folkier], but Brandon helped me hone a darker tone and make an amazing indie rock record. I’m thankful he took the time between recording legends to work with me,” the singer said.

The visuals were subsequently shot in California, over a “whirlwind weekend.” King Daniel wrote the story, and Miles Mueller directed the video. On the heels of this new release, the artist is embarking on a winter tour with “Triggerman” singer, Andrew Hagar. The Holy Stoned Revival Tour begins on Friday, Feb. 22 at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. It’s followed by shows up the coast of California and will conclude at the famed New York City rock club, Pianos, on March 29. Click here for additional information.
