Although he’s the guy who will soon be dominating a good portion of Comedy Central’s airtime, comedian Chris Distefano carries on a casual conversation like a childhood buddy you could’ve grown up with, in New York.
The comic is now gearing up for his first hour special, “Chris Distefano: Size 38 Waist,” which will premiere on Comedy Central, Jan. 18 at 11 p.m. ET.
“Stupid Questions with Chris Distefano,” his interstitial series which airs Fridays on Comedy Central, is already a fan favorite – fitting for the comedian’s playful personality. Along with recent news of its continuation, came an overall deal with the network that includes a second hour-long stand-up special, an animated series, and an unscripted series.
Prior to his first special, mixed with discussions about how awesome his dad is, his popular weekly podcast “History Hyenas” (which he co-hosts with fellow comic Yannis Pappas), and talk of the 34-year-old’s list of TV pilots that never saw the light of day, Distefano tells of how all roads led to this moment.
