The Frank Zappa hologram is scheduled to make its festival debut at the Doctor Music Festivalin the summer of 2019, in Catalonia, Spain. After almost a 20-year hiatus, the concert returns from July 12-14 with the “Reincarnation Edition.”
“The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa” joins The Strokes, King Crimson, Smashing Pumpkins, The Good, the Bad & the Queen, Greta Van Fleet, Jimmy Cliff, Underworld, The Prodigy, The Voidz, and Chris Robinson Brotherhood, among others.
The hologram experience will be comprised of brand-new music, epic visuals, and surely a few surprises. Ray White, Mike Keneally, Scott Thunes, Robert Martin and Ed Mann with Joe “Vaultmeister” Travers are all set to appear alongside the hologram. Steve Vai, Ian Underwood, Lady Bianca, Napoleon Murphy Brock, and Arthur Barrow will also be making special appearances in upcoming shows.
